Thijs Helms

I started playing when I was 7 years old because of my big brother who also plays baseball. My dream of reaching the big leagues started when i received my first MLB cap for Christmas. I started working hard as a young kid and that is how I got in the national team for the kingdom of the Netherlands. I came out for the national team 3 times now U12, U15 and U18.

Bio

I pitched the bronze medal game against Italy and threw 4 innings with zero points against. That is how whe got third in the U15 European championship. This year on the world cup in Chinese Taipei i saved the game against japan by throwing out the runner from second base. Because of this the Netherlands won for the first time against japan. I would say this is my greatest moment in my baseball career so far and i hope to make even better ones.
